“Anti-Pop” artist Joji has had a several-year career as a musical artist following his career as an internet personality.  Since 2017, he’s released a multitude of singles, EP’s, and albums, all catering to the moods experienced by our generation today.  

He often sings about drug abuse, bleeding love, and mental fatigue regarding fake friends and false happiness.  In one of his most popular early releases, Bitter F*ck,  he is vocal about feeling misunderstood, angry, and heartbroken. 

The song keeps a laid back yet steady beat while delivering a cynical self evaluation of himself, the sound is more mellow but listeners hear the underlying pessimism and built up anger he has regarding the person his last love has made him to be.

 Listeners can relate to the constant stress of maintaining a perception society holds of us.  Sometimes that gets mangled after a heartbreak.
