Shot around New York City, Shame follows lead actor, Michael Fassbender, as he attempts to satisfy his never-ending sexual addiction; all while juggling a lucrative career & rocky relationship with his younger sister, played by Carey Mulligan.

In Shame, director Steve McQueen reunites with Michael Fassbender for a second time; their wildly successful first film, Hunger, is also highly recommended.  The ability of these two to create such a brave and emotionally raw film is unmatched.

A film about addiction, the human nature of need, being a sibling, and the endlessly tangible feeling of being lonely in a city.  As you sip your morning coffee, ask yourself - behind perceived normalcy, who are you?
