Josh Santiago is the founder of Empowering Cuts. Raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia with homelessness surrounding him, Josh has always had a deep connection with community members who are unable to afford simple luxuries that promote self-confidence—think haircuts.

With the help of our friends at Meet Philadelphia, we sat down with Josh to learn what promoted him to start Empowering Cuts, and make his life’s mission to improve the lives of individuals in the homeless community, one free haircut at a time.
