Natalia Rosen

Art Director, Designer

Stop comparing yourself negatively to other people. When you spend your time comparing yourself you set yourself back and lose creativity. Just chill. Do your best, not what other people are doing. This field is too competitive for that.”

At just 25 years old, this girl is KILLING it!

She brings an edgy dynamic to every brand she works with and has proven to do the same with ours. From Bourbon to Gracie, and some other projects on the way, Natalia Rosen puts a spin on our style with our premier roasts.

Natalia sits as the full-time Creative Director for Lights Lacquer and Lights Label, a Miami-based clothing and beauty brand directing all things creative including branding, packaging, print, digital & web! If the responsibility of owning the brand’s creative voice isn’t enough, you can catch Natalia planning and directing shoots, prop styling and even editing photos as well---a branding mastermind!

She spends any free moment she has freelancing design work for brands all over the world, and has dreams of designing for MILK one day.

Growing up in the Poconos, Natalia always knew she would be an artist. From a young age she thought she would be a painter, but as she grew older, she found herself obsessing over brands across all platforms. She moved to Philadelphia to attend Moore School of art, where she tried a little of everything and fell in love with digital. She later transferred to Temple University Tyler School of Art and graduated with a BSA in Graphic Design Illustration, and has a background in Art History, which fuels much of her product design.

As a child of immigrant parents, Natalia has always been supported to follow her dreams. “My father was a fantastic artist; he draws and paints beautifully.  While he was a doctor in Romania, he’s now in industrial design, and my mother did leatherwork, so I’ve always had creativity around me.”

Natalia is one that doesn’t have a style--she is inspired by brands and creative research. “I get bored easily. I can’t work in the same style all the time. I look at all types of artists, designers, painters, for inspiration.  I love mixed-media work, and recreate that digitally.”

This woman is artistic inside and out--her tattoos tell a story of who she is and where she gets much of her inspiration.  As a designer, you might think Natalia designs her own tattoos, to which she says…

“I would rather die haha. I grow to hate everything I design, seeing where I could have done something differently or added a better detail. I wouldn’t want to be judging my art on my body for my whole life.”

At 25 years old, Natalia is beyond her years in experience. Looking back into her teens and twenties, we asked Natalia what piece of advice she would give herself…

“Stop comparing yourself negatively to other people. When you spend your time comparing yourself you set yourself back and lose creativity. Just chill. Do your best, not what other people are doing. This field is too competitive for that.”
