From the director that brought you: Singing in the Rain, Saturn 3 stars Farrah Fawcett, Kirk Douglas and Harvey Keitel as scientists sent aboard a lunar base to discover new sources of food.
Douglas and Fawcett basically do nothing but make weird age-gap love for the first half of the movie. Out of resentment, Keitel builds an adorable killer robot that looks like someone taped Wall-E’s head onto Robocop’s body.
Though this movie was clearly written and edited by chimpanzees, the art direction is incredible. Even when the special effects are bad, it’s always interesting to look at. I watch a lot of bad movies, and this is up there with the best of them. As of right now, you can find it on most streaming platforms so I can heartily recommend it!
